As the Prop Turns
Go Somewhere!
Tired of the practice area? Maybe it's time to go out and check out our beautiful local scenery. An occasional break from the monotony of maneuvers can be a refreshing experience. These pictures were taken from recent flights to Jackson Hole, WY, and Driggs, ID. Both great cross country flights, with on-airport restaurants, taking your over some of the most spectacular scenery in the world. Driggs even has an aviation museum with warbird aircraft on display! Ask your instructor if now is a good time to take a flight out of the practice area.
These cross-countries include flight over rugged mountainous terrain, high elevation airports, and unpredictable weather. Be sure to bring a flight instructor along with you on this mountain flying cross-country adventure!
