Summit Aviation employs some of the best flight instructors available in the Northwest. All of our full-time flight instructors learned to fly in mountainous environments and have hours upon hours of experience teaching in Southwest Montana.

If you want the best flight instruction possible in the Northwest, fly with instructors who are extremely familiar and knowledgeable in the requirements and skills needed in this portion of the country!

	Ben Walton Flight Instructor, Owner Owner, Ben Walton is a CFI, CFII, MEI, and a NAFI Master Flight Instructor. Also an instructor at Montana State University, Ben has delivered hundreds of lectures in aviation courses. Formerly a Forest Service, wildlife research, and charter pilot, Ben has accrued thousands of hours of low-level mountain flying. Over his career, Ben has successfully led many pilots through a variety of ratings. Contact Ben Walton
	Jon Davant Chief Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII, MEI Summit's Chief Flight Instructor, Jon has extensive flight instruction experience. A Bozeman native, Jon received his initial flight training in the Phoenix area, and received his CFI, CFII and MEI from Summit Aviation. Contact Jon Davant
	Drew Myers Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII Instructor Drew Myers is an integral part of the Summit team, and with his fine sense of humor, keeps everyone at Summit in smiles. Drew received all of his ratings here at Summit, and teaches the instrument course at Montana State University.
	Emily Crittenden Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII,MEI Instructor Emily Crittenden joins us from Anchorage, Alaska, where she received her initial training. Emily received her CFI, CFII and most recently MEI ratings at Summit, and is a valuable member of the Summit team.
	Zach Bowman Instructor - CFI, CFII, MEI A native of Cody, Wyoming, Zach received his instructor ratings in northern California, and most recently instructed in Houston, Texas. A retired professional bull rider, Zach is glad to be back home, flying and instructing in the Northern Rockies.
	Dan Hoadley Instructor - CFI, MEI Dan is a familiar face around Summit Aviation. Having achieved all of his ratings at Summit, he brings a lot of experience and knowledge to the team. Dan is available for instruction on weekends and evenings.

	Carl Graham Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII, MEI A former Navy pilot, Carl provides instruction for instrument, commercial and multi-engine certificates.
	Steve Garvine Flight Instructor - CFI, CFII, MEI Instructor Steve Garvine comes to us from the East Coast where he received all his training in the congested airspace around Washington, DC, Baltimore, Philadelphia and New York City. Steve has experience in training students in Cessna 150s to charter operations in King Airs.
